Originating in the Middle East, the Arabian horse is the oldest known breed of riding horse, and is now one of the most popular breeds in the United States. To this day, their beauty, stamina, and bravery are unparalleled. Because of this, many important historical figures have chosen Arabians as their mounts, including Genghis Khan, Napoleon, Alexander The Great, and even George Washington.

The traits that were bred into the Arabian through ancient times created a versatile horse that is not only a beautiful breed, but one that excels at many activities. Considered the best breed for distances, the Arabian's superior endurance and stamina enable them to consistently win competitive trail and endurance rides, as well as in racing. Arabians are successful in many other events as well, including in the showring. Arabians are great competitors in Western Events, Saddleseat Events, Driving Events, and more.
